Hale Pama (Palm House)
Anyone who has sat on the Hawaiian shores has heard the melodic sounds of wind passing through the coconut palms. I find it so peaceful, like a chant that centers your very being. Here is a place that celebrates this idea. Two leis placed on the volcanic tide pool shows there is romance filled throughout this dwelling. The couple has built an enchanted escape that is forever amidst the music of the windswept palms. They even build and adorn the walls with the fans shaped fronds. A small lookout atop another tree serves as a place to gaze at the stars and passing ships. Water wheels and wooden lifts provide natural energy sources and convenience in a playful, charming harmony with the sounds of the trees. More tikis and soft rounded stone stacks contrast with the jagged lava rock and raging sea.
